We often think of a detox as something that is going to make us feel worse and involve deprivation from the things that are currently helping us to survive our stress-filled lives.

That’s how I think about a detox. And that’s what I studied when on an extreme detox away off the grid in the Amazon with a shaman.

Our bodies are constantly exposed to toxins from our environment and unhealthy foods.

A full physical detox is simply cleansing the body of these harmful substances.

Our miraculous bodies are built to eliminate toxins through the skin, digestive system, kidneys, and liver, but they were never made to handle the sheer overload of poisons, pollutants, stresses, and contaminants that we are exposed to or introduce into our bodies every single day.

My promise to you is that there is a way to physically detox or cleanse safely and effectively without making your body feel worse.

My strategy with detoxing is to support your body through the process without stressing it out.


Most people don’t realize that the detoxing process is connected to our emotions.

The truth is that we like to talk a lot about detoxing our physical bodies, but we seem to brush off our emotional well-being.

That’s a problem, because just like how our bodies collect toxins from the foods we eat and the air we breathe, our minds can also accumulate negative emotions from daily stressors and traumatic experiences.

Emotional detoxing is the process of releasing these emotions to promote healing, clarity, and inner peace.


Just as our bodies need to be cleansed of toxins, the same goes for our spirits. Spiritual detoxing involves letting go of toxic thoughts and beliefs that no longer serve us. This can include negative self-talk, grudges, and limiting beliefs.

One way to spiritually detox is through meditation and mindfulness practices. This can help you become more aware of your thoughts and feelings, and learn to let go of the ones that don't serve you.

Spending time in nature and practicing gratitude can also be helpful in spiritual detoxing.
A spiritual detox involves quietness and solitude.

It’s about clearing your mind, body, and soul of negative energy, toxic emotions, and limiting beliefs.

A spiritual detox can include fasting from technology so that you can create space for new positive experiences to enter your life.
